- CA$1,095,227 – August 16, 2026, won online on Powerbucks Blackjack in Quebec.
The two August jackpots were announced after IGT’s May 2026 count of more than 77 million-dollar Powerbucks prizes.
For historical context, IGT also reported a CA$2,752,530 Powerbucks jackpot won online in Quebec on Wheel of Fortune Ruby Riches on December 26, 2024. At the time, IGT described it as the largest Powerbucks jackpot awarded to date.
These historical wins show that Powerbucks jackpots can be awarded through different participating games and channels. They do not indicate when or where the next jackpot will be won.
Powerbucks VS Maple Moolah
Powerbucks and Maple Moolah both feature progressive jackpots starting at CA$1 million, but the networks operate differently.
Powerbucks is an IGT Canada-wide network that can link participating land-based, online and mobile games.
Maple Moolah is a Games Global progressive jackpot network developed specifically for Ontario’s regulated online gaming market. Its jackpot pool is ring-fenced within the province.
Launched in 2022, Maple Moolah games are available through participating regulated Ontario casinos such as Grand Mondial, Jackpot City and Zodiac Casino, subject to current game availability.
Unlike Powerbucks, Maple Moolah games are offered online and are not part of a Canada-wide land-based progressive network.
